Student Housing

Student Housing

Furnished housing is available to medical, nursing, allied health, and other health professions students who need it for relatively short periods of time. Rule of thumb: if a student is maintaining a household somewhere else and needs housing for no more than six months, Mid-MO AHEC can usually accommodate him or her.

There may or may not be a minimal charge of $50 per week to the student, depending on the relationship between the school and AHEC.

The student must bring his or her own bed linens (twin) and towels.

Mid-MO AHEC has a three-bedroom house that can accommodate up to six people. The house (not the individual room) is typically co-ed.

We also lease three apartments in a quadraplex building. The apartments each have two bedrooms and house up to three people. Generally, we try to keep the apartments occupied by one gender or the other.

A two-bedroom apartment that can accommodate up to three students is available in Marshall.

At this time, Mid-MO AHEC does not provide housing in the Lake of the Ozarks area. Please check back, as we are working on this situation.

Please contact the Clinical Coordinator with any housing requests.
