Online Course: Population Health Curriculum for Health Professionals (3 Workshop hours) To access and commence this online course, please visit this website: http://www.scahec.net/courses/courses_ph.html. The curriculum for this online course offers an introduction to public health and population health for health professionals. The curriculum is contained in five modules, each in three 1-hour blocks, designed to be presented by someone familiar with the concepts of population health, but can also be studied by individuals. For the purposes of an online course, go through the modules and test your knowledge on the content and take the multiple-choice tests provided at the end of each module. After taking these tests, do a self-check by comparing your answers to answers provided for each of these tests. The modules are also complemented by problem-based learning (PBL) exercises developed from real and hypothetical environmental case studies. The PBLs will challenge you to respond to real and hypothetical case studies. Included in each module are optional activities and resource material including references, websites, presentation notes, learning assignments, post-tests for each module and a glossary.
