Clinical Sites: Rolla

PHELPS COUNTY REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER (PCRMC) in Rolla was established in 1995 as the Mid-Missouri AHEC hub site for clinical training.

Rolla is located on I-44 and Hwy. 63, 65 miles south of Jefferson City and 100 miles equidistant from St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri. Its population is about 16,000 and the town is home to Missouri University of Science and Technology.

The ratio of students to preceptors is 1:1, and generally the preceptors have clinic offices and hold privileges to attend patients at PCRMC.
