Clinical Sites: Lake Ozarks

LAKE REGIONAL HOSPITAL (LRH) in Osage Beach offers core clinical rotations in family medicine, internal medicine, surgery, ob-gyn, and pediatrics. Housing is not available in the area at this time, but rotations can be facilitated for students who have their own housing options.

Elective rotations are available in ER, orthopedics, cardiology, hospitalist, anesthesia, gastroenterology, and many others.

LRH is located on Hwy. 54 in Osage Beach, 45 miles from Jefferson City. Nearby towns include Eldon, Linn Creek, Lake Ozark, and Camdenton. Lake of the Ozarks is a beautiful place to live, a vacation area filled with resorts, outdoor activities, water sports, and entertainment.

Thirty miles south of Camdenton, in Richland, Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) was established over 20 years ago. COMC is affiliated with Lake Regional Hospital; rural family medicine rotations with OB are available at the Richland clinic.
