Local students speak out against popular e-cig.

Rolla High School students Emma Guffey and Autym Decker created a poster speaking out against the Juul e-cigarette. The Juul is a highly stylized product that has found favor with the teenage crowd.

These two young women are part of a Project Lead the Way class taught by Ms. Rachelle Thessen. While, both Emma & Autym, are exploring careers in healthcare, they are making a positive impact on our community today.

Zika Virus

Zika Virus is a growing concern throughout the state.   We set out to find some information on where it’s from, how it spreads and what you can do to prevent it.  Zika is spread by the Aedes Mosquito and originates from parts of  South America, Africa, and Asia. Find more information on Zika at health.mo.gov.

Job Shadowing

PCRMC has lifted the face mask requirement for job shadowing students due to a decrease in flu cases. -April 18, 2017

Due to the FLU Season, students will need to submit proof of a flu test or wear a face mask while in the hospital.

Mid-Missouri AHEC Staff.

 Also, students under the age of 18 will have to wear a face mask. Even if they have had their flu shot.
